Highly recommend
Kiva hotelli vanhassa nunnaluostarissa. Huoneesta hieno n?k?ala Maratean vanhaan kaupunkiin. Uima-allasalue oli viihtyis?. Hyvin tarkeni uida viel? syyskuun lopulla.

I am just back from 4 nights at this hotel. We had an amazing time, the hotel was an old monastry, very unique with plenty place to sit and a great pool area to sit at, as the weather was fantastic. Fantastic views. There are a few steps heading down to the little down that had a few bars and eateries, We took a walk down to the port and back, it was lovely. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Would definately return and would highly reccommend.

Camere confortevoli, ottima colazione, personale gentile e disponibile. Grazie alla sig.ra Cristina il nostro gruppo di oltre 20 persone e rimasto piacevolmente soddisfatto.

We had a wonderful holiday here, the hotel is quirky and unique with the most amazing location. The town is stunning and has tons of very atmospheric bars, cafes, restaurants and shops just a few minutes walk down from the hotel. The owners of the hotel were extremely helpful in recommending the best places to eat, making reservations for restaurants, booking trips and giving advice on the area. The hotel has its own car park which is big plus as the parking in town is very limited. There are loads of beaches within a 20 minute drive of the hotel, La Secca and Macarro were the best. All in all an amazing place and wonderful holiday.

Very pleasant stay however pool area although very smart & clean the water was so cold & unpleasant to use. Staff very friendly but slow service for drinks etc. lunch menu very limited & poor choices. Room (suite no28) was large but very noisy as every room above or nearby we woke up every time the flushed toilets or taps used so sleep deprived! We stayed 2 nights & Maratea was small & only a few walkable restaurants down about 60 steps. Taxi service was efficient & highly recommended if you don’t have a car.

The owners and staff were very friendly and gave us some great recommendations for food and leisure. The hotel was a gem and I slept so well in the very comfortable bed. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in in recent years

La Locanda delle Donne Monache , a Maratea, fantastico posto al centro di Maratea... scelto dopo aver letto le recensioni positive di questo posto tenuto in modo impeccabile e con molta professiobalita'... lo consiglio a chi cerca pulizia ambienti profumati... parcheggio privato... accettano gli amici pelosi... prezzi nella norma... colazione super...

La Locanda Delle Donne Monache è un posto incantevole. Sembra una piccola gemma incastonata tra le montagne e il mare. L’atmosfera è tranquilla e curata. Il livello di pulizia è eccellente. Lo staff cortese e professionale. Il nostro nuovo riferimento in zona. Assolutamente consigliato!
